Fendi, 181 Sloane Street, London
Building upon events in Fendi boutiques in London and Rome, Silvia Venturini Fendi invited Simon Hasan to develop a set of mannequins for display in Fendi’s new Sloane Street store.
Inspired by the cubist art of Georges Braque, the mannequins are deeply faceted figures of tightly formed leather, finished with refined panels of gold and palladium gilding.
The mannequins received a Wallpaper* Design Award in 2012.
Materials: Boiled leather, gold and palladium gilding, PU resin, hot-rolled steel.
